Why we exist
Households on a dynamic tariff pay a price that follows the wholesale market and now changes every quarter of an hour. Under net-billing, the solar power you send to the grid is worth far less than the power you buy back in the evening peak. Nobody can follow that by hand every day, so many of those homes pay more than they need to.
What Gridome does
The Gridome Orchestrator is a small device installed in your home. It follows the Polish wholesale electricity price, the weather and solar forecast, and the equipment you already have. From that it plans ahead: it charges your home battery in the cheap hours and uses it when power is expensive, and it gives your electric car the energy you need before you leave, while keeping the whole house within its fuse limit. No scripts to write, no rules to maintain.
Not tied to one brand, and it runs at home
Gridome talks to your equipment over open standards rather than through one maker's cloud, so it is not tied to a single brand. The list of tested equipment is still short, and it grows as we test more.
Your Gridome runs in your home. If the internet drops, it keeps working on its last plan. Your energy data is stored in your home, not in our cloud.
Where we are
Gridome is in field testing in Poland. It is not on sale yet. It will reach homes through installers once it carries the CE mark. We are based in Słupsk, Poland.
